THIS MONTH'S FOCUS AREA: Nursery and Pre-K Classroom

These positions are open only to members of Grace. Must be willing to have a background check performed.

Preschool Coordinator - Currently considering candidates for this role that oversees scheduling and operation of our nursery/preschool classrooms. (Subject to elder approval, must be active in a Life Group and a member for at least one year).

Preschool Craft Team Member

Preschool Storyteller/Storytime Team Member

Sunday Nursery/ PreK Worker – Help care for our children ages 0-4 on a Sundays. This position is open to ladies-only. (Frequency 1/month)

Grace Gives Back

This team serves our community by making deliveries of supplies and refreshments to the teachers at our sponsored schools in the HEB school district. There are also a variety of volunteer opportunities on an as-needed basis.

Sunday School Ministry

These positions are open only to members of Grace. Must be willing to have a background check performed. (Frequency 1/month)

Sunday School Teacher or Assistant (1st - 3rd) - Lead or assist a children’s classroom for elementary-aged children.

Sunday School Teacher or Assistant (4th-6th) - Lead or assist a children’s classroom for elementary-aged children.

Parking and Safety Teams

Help keep people safe by directing traffic or monitoring. (Frequency 1/month)

Parking Lot Crew - Help people find parking before and in between services.

Safety monitor - Maintain safety on a Sunday morning by observing the parking lot or inside the building. Available to members-only. Background check is required.

First Impressions Ministry

This team warmly greets people each weekend. (Frequency 1/month)

Greeting Team - Warmly welcome first-time guests in the lobby and auditorium on Sunday mornings.

Usher Team - Help members and guests find places to sit on Sunday mornings.

Youth-aged greeter - Youth to greet any youth visiting for the first time on Sunday morning.

Weekend Tech Team

Help operate the technical side of weekend service. (Frequency 1/month)

Sound Board Operator - Operating the sound board during Sunday services/Thursday practice to adjust levels for a cohesive mix.

Computer Operator - Setting-up/running projector slides during services.

Video Camera Operator – Help capture our weekend services by operating a video camera during services. Technical ability needed and training will be provided.

Video Stream Producer – Help operate our weekend services recording by producing the stream. Technical ability needed and training will be provided.

Worship Team

The worship team has evaluations annually. To join the team, you must be a member of Grace, active in a Life Group, and have attended Grace for a period of time. A team member will contact you to discuss the process and requirements.

Musician - Playing an Instrument

These teams range from prayer to cooking and cleaning. (Frequency listed on each position)

Building Refresh Crew - This team does a light cleaning and “reset” of the building. Come on a Sunday afternoon to help get the building ready after services. (1/month)

Intercessory Prayer Team - You will be contacted as prayer needs arise to petition God's throne on behalf of others. This team regularly meets before services to pray as well. (Available to members actively involved in a Life Group only).

BBQ Cook Team - You will be contacted as needed for smoking meat (provided by the church) for potlucks. (Cooking proficiency will be tested prior to acceptance onto the team).
